Long Beach
Long Beach is the densest venue cluster of LA 2028: water polo at the Aquatics Center, beach volleyball on the sand at Alamitos Beach, rowing at Marine Stadium, plus handball, target shooting, and sport climbing — most of it walkable along the waterfront.

Getting there
The Metro A Line runs from Downtown LA straight to Downtown Long Beach in about an hour; most venues are a walk or a short bus ride from the end of the line.
Where to stay
Downtown Long Beach's waterfront hotels put several venues at your feet — the closest thing LA 2028 has to an Olympic-park stay. Belmont Shore is a quieter beach-town alternative to the east.
Area guidance only — we don't recommend specific hotels or take accommodation commissions.
